Carnarvon Gorge, Queensland

A short walk from the main campsite adjacent to Carnarvon Gorge lies a wonderful dry sclerophyll eucalypt forest. Within the forest is Baloon Cave which contains an Aboriginal site.

Our kids were facinated by the art and it provided a good introduction for them into indigenous cultural heritage isues.
